My company is registered, which documents do I need to open an account?

As part of our regulatory check, you need the following documents to open your company current account with Qonto:

1 - About you

  • A copy of a valid ID (see here)
  • A proof of address (see here)

You need to be a director (as listed in the company by-laws) to open a business current account on behalf of your company (more info here).

If your company is a 'micro-enterprise', or 'affaire personnel profession libérale', we do not need further information. It is as simple as that!

2 - About the ultimate beneficiaries

An ultimate beneficiary is a natural person who owns, directly or indirectly, 25% or more of the capital or voting rights of the company.

If your company is a SAS ('Société par Actions Simplifiée'), SASU ('Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle'), SARL ('Société à Responsabilité Limitée') or EURL ('Entreprise Unipersonnelle à Responsabilité Limitée'), you need to provide a copy of a valid ID and a proof of address for each ultimate beneficiary.
